First, a “Pre-op Inspection” is performed where a video camera examines the drain line to see its condition and establish a “root cause” of the problem.  The drain line is then prepared and a liner is inserted, this liner is then inflated thereby increasing flow while permanently eliminating the issues of root infiltration and old leaking plumbing pipes. Leaking pipes may contribute to water contamination.

Method 1: Inversion Pipe Restoration

1. Insert a sock liner filled with epoxy into the sewer
2. High-pressure air is blown down through the sewer to insert the liner and the job is complete! This method of pipe restoration is used in the majority of sewer lines that qualify for liners.  Results are excellent!  A smooth lined sewer means pesky roots are eliminated!

Method 2: Cured in place pipe (CIPP) or Pipe Restoration (PIP)

Developed in Canada, Formadrain is a revolutionary cured in place pipe (CIPP) restoration technology that provides a joint-less, seamless, pipe-within-a pipe, eliminating infiltration and leaks in sewer systems without digging.
Two woven fiberglass clothes are impregnated with resin and placed on a rubber tube or balloon. It is then inserted and directed through the damaged sewer line.  This tube is then inflated with steam until it is cured and the removed, leaving a beautiful new pipe inside the old one, completing the process. This method of pipe restoration can provide the option of only lining the area that needs repair that may mean significant cost savings and flexibility.

The trenchless process is a more environmentally friendly method than traditional “dig and replace” pipe restoration and keeps the landscape looking beautiful.
